Electrical Attic Heaters

The placement of the heating device is crucial to the functioning of the system and as such the heater should not be moved from its set position. An area will be marked out on the attic floor or wall and NO STORAGE OR INFLAMMABLE MATERIALS CAN BE PLACED IN THIS ZONE. The heater will be fixed in position on a non-combustible material. It should be placed far enough from the water tank so that a plumber (or anyone) cannot put a hand in the water tank and on the heater simultaneously (Same criteria as in a bathroom concerning a bath and a heater). Also, we recommend installing a smoke detector and a fire extinguisher for additional safety.
